Parent Visa – Permanent

SUBCLASS 143 – CONTRIBUTORY PARENT (PERMANENT) VISA (ONSHORE OR OFFSHORE)

Eligible if you are a parent of an Australian citizen, permanent resident or an eligible New Zealand citizen who is settled in Australia and you satisfy the balance of family test.

SUBCLASS 864 – CONTRIBUTORY AGED PARENT (PERMANENT) VISA (ONSHORE)

Parents should be 65 years old to apply for this visa, must have an eligible sponsor and meet the balance of family test. This is a permanent visa and gives you access to Medicare.

SUBCLASS 103 – AGED PARENT (PERMANENT) VISA (OFFSHORE)

The processing time of this visa is nearly 30 years. To be eligible for this visa parents must be 65 years and meet the other requirement of this visa.

SUBCLASS 804 – AGED PARENT (PERMANENT) VISA (ONSHORE)

This visa lets an aged parent of a settle Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen stay in Australia. The applicant must be old enough to receive the age pension in Australia.
